1997 IALHA National Champion Colt

1998 Undefeated in Junior and Senior Stallion Classes

Winner Under Saddle and Driving

Winner of multiple "Best Movement Award" Medals

P.R.E. Cria Caballar Approved

T.A.S.H.R. and American Azteca Approved Foundation stallion

IMPRESARIO DW is truly an impressive stallion. Bred by Dragonwood, he is sired by our foundation sire DON MARCO and out of our imported U.S. National Champion mare JARANA. One of the most coveted Andalusian broodmares in North America, Jarana is sired by the Romera Benitez stallion SENORITO XXVI (Spanish bred sire of numerous US National Champions). Jarana's dam is the renowned Lovera mare, ODALISCA, Spanish National Bronze winner and dam of incredible foals for Rancho La Esmeralda in Mexico. Jarana has produced three foals for Dragonwood, all of whom are National Champions in their own right (Halter and Performance). National Champion at two years old, Impresario is undefeated in Junior and Senior Stallion classes. He has also won numerous Best Movement medals. Impresario's son Dartanyon DW was 2002 Top 5 Nat'l colt and scored first on the Spanish judge's card. As well, Impresario DW and his full brother, Notorio DW won for Don Marco the Get of Sire award at the 1997 Nationals in Texas, against some of the nation's top sires. Beautiful, athletic, talented and VERSATILE, Impresario is an exciting dressage prospect. His respected Spanish imported bloodlines also make him a valued asset to any breeding program. What more can you ask for? COLOR, you say? Impresario has inherited the COLOR producing gene from Jarana's predominantly black producing lineage. He has produced BAY and BLACK FOALS from solid and grey mares. Impresario's cross bred foals are elegible for registry with the IALHA, Iberian Warmblood, and Azteca (AQHA dams) registries. See IMPRESARIO's FOAL PAGE for examples of Impresario's foals.

IMPRESARIO DW HAS BEEN SOLD

Due to my health issues, I need to get out of the "stallion business". We have retained breeding in the form of a limited amount of frozen semen which I currently have stored. A limited quantity of frozen straws may be available for outside mares.
