DW was bred by Dragonwood (Don Marco x Jarana) and has proven
his worth both as a show horse and as a sire. From an imported
black producing mare line, he is a proven sire of quality Bay,
Black/bay and grey foals with the possibility of black. He stamps
his foals with his stylish movement, Spanish type and great temperament.
Impresario is now sold, however we have retained frozen semen.

Congratulations to Don Marco's new owner,
Nia Ridley of Miraval Andalusians!
Don
Marco was bred by Garrison Ranch and purchased by Dragonwood as
a yearling in 1989. He was shown extensively at halter and driving
before we sent him to the esteemed DAVID JAY for Haute Ecole training.
David and Don Marco performed many
AWESOME exhibitions for us. His owner, Bonnie also enjoyed riding
Don Marco in exhibitions through 1997 (these pics of Bonnie and Don Marco
were taken in 1996).
Don Marco made his mark for Dragonwood as a sire of significance,
having sired four National Champions and winning the 1997 National
GET OF SIRE award (with his two Dragonwood babies, NOTORIO DW
and IMPRESARIO DW). Although he no longer stands at our farm,
we have retained breedings to him for use on our own mares and
a limited number of outside mares.
